Nalut University has a significant presence at the first graduate studies conference at Al-Zawiya University
As part of enhancing academic communication and supporting comprehensive reform plans at the Ministry of Higher Education, Nalut University participated in the activities of the first conference on graduate studies and the meetings and workshops held alongside it at the University of Zawiya.
The Deputy University President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saleh, attended the expanded meeting chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting included the Undersecretary of the Ministry, the Director General of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, the President of the Libyan Academy, and a select group of university presidents.
The meeting focused on the following topics:
- Comprehensive reform plan: Emphasizing the integration of roles between the ministry and universities to ensure the success of the educational process.
- Output Quality: Emphasizing the enhancement of graduate program standards to meet the state's aspirations, considering academic institutions as the "national house of expertise."
On the technical and research front, Dr. Mohamed Amro Al-Qallal, Director of the Graduate Studies and Training Department at Nalut University, participated in the dialogue workshop held on the sidelines of the conference. The department's participation contributed to enriching the discussions related to the development of regulations governing graduate studies, ways to overcome obstacles faced by researchers, and enhancing the efficiency of academic training in line with international standards.
This participation from Nalut University comes to affirm the commitment of the university's presidency and its technical administrations to be at the heart of the national scientific movement, and to actively contribute to formulating innovative solutions to the challenges facing the research and graduate studies sector in Libya.
