The launch of the fifth international scientific conference at the auditorium of the Faculty of Education in Yafran

Today, Sunday morning, the fifth international scientific conference organized by Nalut University under the title: "Scholars, Figures, and Landmarks of Libya: Jebel Nafusa and Zuwara as a Model" commenced at the auditorium of the Faculty of Education in Yafran at the University of Zintan.

The conference witnesses the participation of 108 researchers (both in-person and remote) from various Libyan and Arab universities and research centers, representing: Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, the Kingdom of Morocco, the Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Iraq, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The conference activities will continue over two days (October 25 and 26) through five main research axes aimed at highlighting the scholars, figures, and landmarks of Libya, reinforcing awareness of national identity, documenting the architectural and economic heritage of the Nafusa and Zuwara regions, examining the intellectual biography and historical roles of the region's figures, and enhancing social and cultural ties between the mountains and the coast.
