The Minister of Planning discusses arrangements for holding the first international conference on engineering project management.
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, an important meeting was held at the office of His Excellency the Minister of Planning at the Ministry's headquarters. The meeting included His Excellency Minister Mr. Mohammed Youssef Al-Zaidani, the Director General of the Planning Institute, Dr. Mohammed Qassem Al-Zughbi (Dean of the College of Engineering Project Management and Conference Chair), and Mr. Mohammed Farid Jurnaz (Chairman of the Conference Preparatory Committee and University Representative as one of the sponsoring entities).
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and partnership and to follow up on the ongoing preparations for the "First International Conference on Engineering Project Management," scheduled to be held in the capital, Tripoli, on November 1 and 2, 2026.
The conference is held under the slogan: (A Comprehensive Vision for Sustainable Development and Reconstruction in the Oil, Gas, Construction, and Services Sectors)
The participation of Professor Mohammed Jurnaz reflects the university and the organizing committee's commitment to the success of this distinguished scientific event, which aims to:
