The Nalut University participated in the activities of the academic dialogue session held today, Monday, September 28, 2026, at Zawiya University, titled: "Quality Assurance in Libyan Education: Reality, Challenges, and Future Prospects," which hosted the Director General of the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions, Dr. Abdullah Abdel Jalil.
The university's participation was represented in:
- Dr. Nagy Al-Hadi Aburas, Director of the Center for Scientific Research, Consultations, and Training at the University (in person).
- Professor Adel Youssef Al-Rani, Director of the Quality Office at the University (remotely).
Objectives of the discussion session:
1. Diagnosing the reality of quality assurance in Libyan educational and training institutions.
2. Identifying the challenges and opportunities facing the development of institutional performance.
3. Review of future prospects for enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and elevating the level of academic accreditation.
4. Enhancing academic dialogue and developing a more efficient educational system according to national and international standards.
The session witnessed a discussion of several key topics that addressed the shift from a culture of paperwork compliance to the actual practice of continuous improvement, as well as the challenges of curricula and linking outcomes to labor market needs.
This participation comes as part of the university's ongoing commitment to keep up with academic developments and to enhance the levels of quality and institutional and program accreditation.
