Participation of Nalut University in the meeting for the executive arrangements of digital transformation projects in collaboration with UNESCO
As part of Nalut University's ongoing efforts towards digital development and enhancing academic and administrative standards, Professor Adel Suleiman Arafa, representing Nalut University, participated in the expanded meeting held by the committee assigned to follow up on digital transformation projects at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research today, Tuesday (September 22, 2026). The meeting included representatives of the committee at the ministry, points of contact from Libyan universities and the Libyan Academy, along with the project implementation team from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); to review the executive arrangements and mechanisms for joint coordination, in preparation for the actual and operational launch of the projects tomorrow, Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
During the meeting, the work plan and the upcoming follow-up stages were reviewed, ensuring the successful implementation of these comprehensive digital projects in universities and their execution to the fullest extent.
This step comes as a continuation of the agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and UNESCO to update and develop the digital infrastructure in Libyan universities and educational institutions.
