The President of Nalut University participates in the third regular meeting of the Higher Council of Libyan Universities in the city of Zintan.
Mr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the President of Nalut University, participated this morning, Sunday (September 27, 2026), in the activities of the third regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Libyan Universities for the year 2026, which was hosted by Zintan University under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohamed Al-Dbeib, with the attendance of university presidents and a number of officials and academic leaders.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of national issues and important academic and administrative files aimed at developing the higher education system, the most prominent of which are:
Administrative and Academic Reform: Monitoring the steps for reforming private higher education and developing the performance of the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational Institutions.
Digital Transformation: Discussion of a proposal to establish a specialized center for digital transformation at the University of Tripoli.
Rights of faculty members and staff: Emphasizing the acceleration of matching the entitlements of faculty members, scientific leave approvals, resolving employee files, and supporting their job stability.
Delegation file: Follow-up on the entitlements of the external component for students sent domestically.
Outputs of the committees: Review of the reports of the Higher Committee for Appointments and the Committee for Studying the Preliminary Stage.
The university's participation in this meeting comes as part of its ongoing commitment to enhance coordination with the ministry and Libyan universities, and to elevate the academic and administrative level to serve our students and the educational process in the region.
